Sathguru Management Consultants, in collaboration with Naktuinbouw, with support from SeedNL, assessed India’s seed quality assurance ecosystem, engaging regulators, research institutions, laboratories and industry stakeholders.
The study examined opportunities to strengthen seed testing and certification, seed health and phytosanitary assurance, laboratory quality and accreditation, digital systems and public–private collaboration. Drawing on stakeholder consultations and international benchmarking, the project developed a practical roadmap to support a more robust, enabling and globally connected seed quality assurance ecosystem in India.
