Dr. Anand Singh
Anand Singh is the Vice President in Life Sciences Advisory Group. He is Ph. D. in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology.
Dr. Anand Singh brings over two decades of multidisciplinary experience that has translated rigorous science and strategic advisory into measurable impact across agriculture and life sciences systems in South Asia and Africa. His work has directly influenced how governments, development partners, and agribusinesses design, fund, and execute programmes that improve agricultural productivity, technology adoption, and value‑chain efficiency. At Sathguru Management Consultants, Dr. Singh has played a pivotal role in shaping and delivering large, donor-funded programs supported by multilateral and bilateral organizations. His expertise has enabled the successful mobilization and execution of multi‑country projects in agricultural biotechnology, seed systems strengthening, crop protection, ICT‑enabled extension, and capacity development—helping translate policy and research investments into field‑level outcomes for farmers and agri‑enterprises.
A key dimension of his impact lies in bridging science, markets, and implementation. Drawing on his background as a research scientist and former industry leader, He has helped development programmes incorporate commercial realism, regulatory awareness, and adoption pathways—improving the sustainability and scalability of donor investments. His earlier work at Monsanto informed product development and technology-delivery strategies across multiple geographies, an experience that now strengthens advisory support to both public- and private-sector clients. His contributions have also led to institutional and sector‑level outcomes, including strengthened partnerships between international research organizations, governments, and implementing agencies, as well as improved stewardship, validation, and deployment of agricultural technologies. Earlier in his career, his research at CSIR-NBRI resulted in biocontrol technologies that were commercially licensed in India, demonstrating his longstanding ability to convert scientific innovation into practical, market-ready solutions. Dr. Anand Singh continues to focus on creating development impact that endures beyond project cycles—by aligning donor priorities with on‑ground realities, fostering credible partnerships, and building execution capabilities that deliver results where they matter most.
