Cornell Sathguru Executive Education delivered the Seed Industry Program 2020 virtually from November 02 – 06, 2020. The legacy of the Seed Industry Program conducted since the last two decades was exemplarily carried forward this year which was digitally delivered and was highly interactive and knowledgeable as the in-class programs. It was five days of intensive learning, discussions, case-study analysis, presentation and extensive networking. The sessions focused on the latest trends and strategies, plant breeding and biotechnology, genetics and gene editing, IP, licensing & technology management and the technical evolution of the global seed market. The sessions were graced by the best minds with in-depth expertise in seed sector sharing their knowledge and experience with the participants. Faculty from Cornell University, Sathguru and regulatory authorities engaged the participants with their profound research and global exposure. The program had participants from around the globe enabling exchange of ideas and perspectives across the sessions. There were zealous contribution from the participants discussing within their groups in the breakaway rooms and bringing forth their best views in the group presentations and analysis of real-world case studies.
Though the participants could not meet in person due to the ongoing pandemic, SIP2020 provided them with a platform to seamlessly connect virtually and network with their peers from various organizations and countries. The program concluded on a great note of appreciation from the participants expressing holistic gain from the program.
