Agri business managers congregate for Cornell University – Sathguru initiative.
Hyderabad, 19 March 07:
After enormous success in the previous seven editions, Cornell University, New York, USA in association with Sathguru Management Consultants, Hyderabad, India will bring together global managers again for the “Food and Agri Business Management Program” at picturesque Cochin. The program invites nominations from decision makers from food and agribusiness fields.
The world economy has created a major opportunity for businesses to access exciting new technologies while supplying their own products to the dynamic world market. In no sector is this more realistic than for agribusiness, with the growing dismantling of subsidies, private –public partnerships, technological leaps, and changing consumer preferences. These developments have challenged the operational models in food chain and also expedited the need for development of core competencies.
The Food and Agri Business Management Program is designed to fill in gaps in the experience of executives as they seek to master their professional roles and prepare for new ones in the ever changing global Agriculture and Food industry. The course is built on the experience of previous successful collaborations between Cornell and Sathguru and the Agriculture and Food industry stakeholders from the South Asian and South-East Asian regions. The program will be conducted in two modules - in India and in the USA.
The Indian module is from 15th April to 20th April 2007, followed by the US module 2nd May to 9th May 2007.
