Sathguru becomes member of International Federation of Technology Transfer Organizations (IFTTO)
International Federation of Technology Transfer Organizations (IFTTO) joins societies together from around the world for the purposes of establishing a mechanism to foster the cooperation and exchange of technology transfer information, experiences and practices. This initiative was kicked off in the international meeting of the technology transfer organizations held in San Antonio, USA on the sidelines of the Annual General Meeting of AUTM.
Each of the member organizations is wholly independent from one another but shares common goals:
| 1. |
To identify issues of common interest |
| 2. |
To cooperate whenever feasible in the development of education materials |
| 3. |
To facilitate dissemination of good practices in technology transfer |
| 4. |
To provide a forum for exchange and discussion of information on public policy issues |
| 5. |
To cooperate in creation, expansion and dissemination of surveys and scholarly works that permit the measurement, analysis and understanding of the technology transfer practice |
Sathguru becomes a charter member along with 11 other global organizations across the world. Mr K Vijayaraghavan, our Director, will represent Sathguru in the steering committee of IFTTO.
Sathguru, for over 19 years, is involved in technology transfer, and has facilitated various collaborations successfully. It is that vast experience gained by the practioners at Sathguru, which makes it a unique organisation to provide appropriate advice and guidance to enterprises, when they embark on technology transfer.
