Associate - Technology Management
Job Profile: To provide support to the Division of Technology Management as it strives to ensure the continued success of technology transfer and IP management at Sathguru Management Consultants. The incumbent would maintain database records and track procedures for technology transfer, including assisting in the preparation of draft research and licensing agreements and providing support with meetings, including preparing and distributing materials and recording meeting minutes and track procedures for everyday processes and projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with the Director and Consultants to identify and evaluate research programs in life/health sciences and discoveries with commercial potential.
- Assist the Director and Consultants to develop and implement systems for technology evaluation and opportunity assessment.
- Assist in identifying through market analysis and intelligence, collaborators for technology development and commercialization.
- Support Consultants in editing and drafting consulting reports, license agreements and new research agreements.
- Support the work of the Director and the Consultants in developing course material and implementing outreach programs to educate stake holders in IP and Technology transfer.
- Work with the Director and the Consultants to develop patent portfolios in strategic areas for licensing.
- Provide in-depth support in marketing, strategic and tactical processes to promote the commercialization of technologies.
May support the work of the Consultants to develop and maintain database records and track procedures for day to day processes, gathering and utilizing marketing related information to support the process etc
Qualifications:

Advanced degree in engineering plus significant demonstrated experience in Intellectual Property is preferred. Mechanical, Computer Sciences, Electronics, Electrical and Instrumentation degree will be taken into account.

Superior writing and oral communication skills with a particular ability to translate scientific concepts into language easily understood by the nonscientist.

Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to attend to detail and work independently.

Self-starter who can work under pressure, manage multiple projects and details, meet inflexible deadlines on own initiative and find creative solutions to problems.
Familiarity with Intellectual Property commercialization such as prior art searches, FTO analysis, preliminary evaluation of novelty, regulatory processes, business significance of patent claims, and ability to work with a team
