  • How to reach Ithaca, New York?

    Ithaca and Cornell University are served by the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport. The university campus is about a ten-minute drive from the airport.

    I From JFK airport:

    i. By air Take Jet Blue/American Airline/United/Delta/All Asian airlines or all European airlines and come to Syracuse airport. You can drive down in a taxi from Syracuse. The taxi charge will be roughly 150 $ and it is about 60 minutes journey. Alternatively take United/USAIR/Delta to come to Ithaca via Philadelphia or Detroit.

    ii. By Cornell Campus Bus Drive down by taxi to Cornell club located at 6 east 44th street in midtownManhattan city (Taxi charge approximately $ 65 and driving time 45 minutes) and take Cornell campus bus to Ithaca (driving time 4.5 hours), the bus needs advance booking.     II From Newark airport:

    Take the UNITED AIRWAYS flight from Newark to Ithaca, if you land in Newark before 5.30 am or else take US Air or Delta that comes to Ithaca via Philadelphia or Detroit. The participants may plan to depart by any late evening flight from New York City on 19thJuly, 2017.

    III From Philadelphiaairport(Lufthansa, British airways):

    Take the USAIR flight from Philadelphia to Ithaca. For all the international landing and local flight connectivity, kindly keep minimum of 3 hrs transfer time.

  • What is the program venue in Ithaca?

    The venue of the program is B51, Warren halls, Cornell University campus Ithaca. Daily bus service is arranged from Hotel to the venue to transfer the participants and bring them back to the hotel

  • What is the weather condition in Ithaca?

    Summer temperatures vary in this area during the day from 70 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit (21 - 35 degrees Celsius), and 60° to 70° F (15° - 21° C) in the evenings. Extreme lows of 40° F (4° C) and highs of 100° F (38° C) have been recorded, but are very unusual. Rain showers are not uncommon. The scenic walks from the on-campus apartments to the Hotel School take twenty minutes or less, and there is also a frequent, daily bus service for your use.
